Truffle is a 1 year old male Mixed Breed from Romania. He is currently being fostered in Essex. He is roughly collie size and build. After being adopted previously, Truffle came to his foster home through no fault of his own but has come on leaps and bounds in the short while he has been there. He has settled well and is enjoying getting to know and playing with his 4 foster siblings.
Truffle is house trained and knows his basic commands. He is a dream to walk, walking well on the lead and showing off his impeccable manners when he meets other dogs.Truffle is also crate trained. He would suit an active home as he is used to going hill walking and long treks.
As he is still a young dog, Truffle does best when he has clear boundaries in place. This is important so would need a confident adopter willing to build on the work of his foster mum. We are seeking an experienced home for Truffle, where his adopters will continue to help him gain confidence through training and socialisation. He is extremely bright so we feel additional training such as flyball or agility would be great stimulation .
This is a special boy who is so eager to please and really deserves a home in which he can flourish. We would be seeking a local adoption or adopters who are willing to travel to meet him, in order to help him get to know his new family in stages and make the transition that bit easier for him.
