Tia is a 3 year old female German Shepherd, and what a handsome girl she is! Tia came into rescue when her owner sadly passed away. Due to her owners illness poor Tia has had a very sheltered life and can be very shy around new people, she prefers women and bonds very quickly so she would be the perfect dog for a single lady experienced with the breed, She will very quickly become your best friend!
Tia could live with an adult couple as long as it is a calm and quiet environment, She is not suitable to live with young children due to her timid nature. Tia is responsive and quick to learn very attentive and easy to train, walks perfectly on the lead and is perfect off, she is extremely sociable with other dogs, although she doesn’t know how to play with smaller dogs and has a tendency to nip at them so will need supervision initially.
She has lived with a cat in her previous home however I have not seen her around them while she has been with me. Tia is clean in the house and fine to be left for short periods of time, Please remember while she is a big girl, she is still young and will need on going training and guidance. Tia is a very busy and active dog so would make a fantastic working dog – she is always on the go!
Tia will need a home that has owned German Shepherds before, She adores her pack and is an amazing all round dog. Tia would benefit from an active home where she can work or take part in agility. Tia will need an adult only home. Tia is spayed, microchipped flea and wormed.
