Mya is a year old female Akita who has come to us as an unclaimed stray. She has been a loved girl as she is in great condition with a beautiful and soft coat. Mya is a heartbreaker, not only is she pretty so has a lovely temperament to match. Fuss and attention are her thing and she loves you to be hands on with her for lots of tickles and tummy rubs.
She has been out on walks with the other Akitas at kennels and has shown no obvious negative signs so far, although she can be a little bouncy which doesn’t always go down well with her canine friends. With this in mind Mya could potentially live with a male companion following successful introductions before rehoming. As she has come to us with no history we cannot place her in a home with children under 12 years of age, she is also not cat tested.
Mya walks relatively well on the lead and with regular exercise and walks her initial excitement and pulling will subside.
