Meet sweet Caroline, who is in Romania until she has a home to go to. She is one year old and is a mixed breed. Caroline is a sweet and loving girl and loves her cuddles. She is a very beautiful girl, with a black and tan silky coat, and beautiful face. She is only small sized, weighing 10kg. She would prefer to be an only dog in the home, although she will tolerate male dogs.
Caroline needs to be taught boundaries as she has a strong and determined nature, so we are looking for someone who has had dogs before. She would be okay living with teenage children. She walks well on the lead and is an energetic girl. She is also house-trained. This is her story: This girl was thrown out into the street at 7 months old, terrified and hungry. She was lucky a good-hearted woman picked her up and called our rescuer. She was happy to have a safe place and only suffered from the terrifying ordeal and hunger.
As Caroline is only just a year old she will need a lot of socialisation with as many adults, children, dogs (puppies and adults), and other animals as possible. She needs to become used to a wide range of events, environments and situations to ensure she grows up to be emotionally well-adjusted and happy in the company of people and other animals.
