Baccus (pronounced Barkos) is a 10 year old male Cross-Breed. Baccus is fostered in Norfolk. This is another dog we met on our trip to Romania in April. This portly little chap hasn’t had an easy time of it and if any dog deserves a pampered retirement it’s him! He has been in shelters for most of his life but a couple of years ago he was attacked so badly by other dogs he almost died. He was painstakingly put back together by Rudi the vet and it was he that specifically asked if we would take him. The moment I saw him I knew we couldn’t in a million years not take him.

I took him for a walk over the fields and he was so cute and friendly, with a smidgen if cheekiness thrown in for good measure. He mixes well with other dogs despite his previous ordeal and is a sweetheart with people. It would just be so lovely to take away all this boys troubles and see him in a home where he is adored and spoilt for the rest of his days. He will be vaccinated, microchipped and neutered (unless the dog is too young to be neutered).
