Muki is a 6 month old Dachshund Cross who was born into an unwanted litter. His mum was found in the streets in rural Hungary and she had a litter of puppies a few days later. The owners surrendered all puppies, Muki and his 3 siblings. Muki is a tiny boy, only 5 kg and he is not expected to grow too much bigger, perhaps another 5 cm. His mum is a Dachshund and the father’s origins are uncertain. He is a bundle of joy who loves life and all living creatures around him!
Muki is an active happy puppy who is running around and playing with his siblings for most part of the day. He is interested in everything and everyone as discovering the world around him. He is very friendly, likes humans and happy around children. He currently lives with several dogs in a pack so he is thoroughly socialized with them, and he’s also socialized with cats. He is not being walked currently so he will need to be trained on lead walk.
He will also need to be house trained as currently he lives outside with his doggie mates and getting inside the house only occasionally. His future family should be aware with all the pleasure and pain that comes with adopting a puppy and love this little bundle of love unconditionally with all his cuteness and happy character! As he is still very young he would easily adapt to most households and environments.
Muki would be best suited with a family without or with children over 10 where he is not left alone for long periods of time and there is time for his training. His future family will need to continue his socialization and train him to become a happy and well behaved adult dog. He would happily live with a friendly dog to keep him company as he loves to play and is very sociable, but he would equally be happy living with his humans to care for him only.
Muki comes fully vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, flea and tick treated, with an EU passport and DEFRA approved paperwork. The right owner will need to agree to have him neutered. Adoption is subject to Home Check and Adoption fee.
