Meg is a 7 year old female Chihuahua. Little Meg has come to us through no fault of her own to find her forever home, she is a nervous little lady initially and will need new owners who have experience of dealing with nervous dogs. Meg is quite hand shy but once she has decided your OK she is very sweet and easily handled without any issue.
Meg would like to be either an only dog or she could potentially be happily paired with a neutered male of a similar age. As she is nervous and tiny we would like an adult only home for her please, she could cope with visiting grandchildren occasionally provided she is left alone and not forced to interact.
Meg loves her gentle walks and is coming on well in foster, she travels fine in the car and is both clean and quiet. When Meg arrived with us she had quite severe dental disease and a grade 4/5 heart murmur. She coped well with the anesthetic and is currently not symptomatic. We are hopeful that now her dental issues have been addressed her heart will improve. Her weight is good and with continued care and exercise there is no reason that she couldn’t continue to have a long and happy life. We will be happy to share her medical records with suitable applicants.
This little lady would love to be someones pampered princess, she loves a lap to cuddle on and she will be a devoted companion in the right home.
Meg has been neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped, she has also had a full dental with extractions, she is up to date with flea and worming treatments. She is currently being fostered in SE6 London.
