Gracie and Tally are medium sized Cross-Breeds (about 20kg) from Romania. Gracie (tan) looks like she might have some shepherd in her and Tally (white) like a big rough coated terrier. Gracie we believe is about 6 and Tally 4. They were rescued from a kill shelter over a year ago and have been together since and are best friends. They came to foster in the UK 3 months ago and arrived very scared dogs. To see where they are now is amazing, but they need to be settled in their forever homes, where they can continue to blossom.

They are kind and gentle souls, they love a fuss and to be groomed. Gracie will paw for more if you stop and Tally rolls over to have her tummy tickled! They are both clean in the house and quiet. They don’t ask for much, just to be fed and somewhere comfy to sleep. They don’t take any notice of the resident cats but they are not overly reactive to anything. Suitability of children is also unknown.

They are probably never going to go on long walks, the best we can hope for is a plod round the block. Therefore, they need an easily accessible garden to sniff and potter round in. They can be separated, though obviously be nice if they could find a home together. They have mixed with a wide range of dogs – big and small, young and old, quiet and boisterous and are not worried by any of them. They will need love, patience and a continued understanding.

We do not expect that these girls will be easy to rehome but are looking for that special person (people) to help them with the rest of their journey.
