Dora is a 3 year old mixed breed still with her family in Woolwich London living with another dog and cat she weighs about 10 kilos. This lovely girl was rehomed as a puppy and has been with her family ever since, unfortunately with a baby due this summer the couple feel they are not best place for her – Dora has always been quite timid living in London they thought she would adjust slowly to the traffic, noise etc but she never has and if anything has got worse, she is very frightened of traffic and noise that goes with living in a City, they have seek help in the past but nothing seems to have worked and she is just a very worried little dog out and about.
In some ways she has got worse and is not always even keen to play with the other dogs in the park which she used to love. Her family think she would benefit from a home in an rural environment with either a couple or a family with older children as she finds little children scary too, she has in the past stayed at dog sitters houses who have teenagers and she was fine.
We have decided on this occasion it would be best to leave Dora where she so she only has to move once, we have also done various videos to give people more of a feel for her. Dora is a very loving little dog who enjoys the company of humans, its been a very hard decision for her owners to make but feel very strongly a different environment for her will make her life happier.
Dora is spayed, vaccinated, chipped and has a passport. Please email us if you feel you could be the right home for Dora and we will send you our questionnaire, we will work closely with her owners and any prospective adopters to make sure we get this right for her.
