Leny – 7 month old female Cross-Breed

Leny is a 7 month old female Cross-Breed. His foster home says that he is the best dog in the world. Despite being only 7 months old, Leny’s life has been very difficult. His mother gave birth to him and his siblings in the streets and they all were rescued when they were 2 months old, but Leny could not be catch and stayed for a further month alone in the forest. When he finally arrived to the pound in Northern Spain he could barely stand because of the malnutrition and anaemia that he had. We took him out of the pound and due to the lack of foster homes we took him to a boarding facility, where luck was again not on his side.

Leny was attacked by a large dog when he was only 5 months old. This caused him a facial tear and a palate fracture. His face was reconstructed by a surgeon specialist in traumatology. He is now fine but due to the fracture his mouth does not close properly and stays slightly open, he snores when sleeping and periodically his nose has to be cleaned with physiological serum. His palate is still in the process of welding and the vet says that because of his young age everything will fit in again, but due to this fracture he lost a canine tooth.

After the attack one of our foster homes took care of him. They adore him but they already have 4 dogs and want to keep fostering, otherwise they would keep him, because Leny is special, fantastic, kind, adorable, affectionate, he is a dog that deserves to find a family that compensates everything that he has already suffered for in his short life.

Leny will be of large size when full grown. He currently already weights 24kg and has a shoulder height of 60cm. Leny is currently in Northern Spain in foster care, but as soon as the family who falls in love with him comes forward and wants that he becomes their new family member he is ready to travel to UK.
