Adorable little Buddy is a 3 year old Patterdale Terrier boy who is sadly looking for a new home due to the ill health of his owner. He has been a much-loved companion and his family are very sad to have to part with him but are doing so with his best interests at heart as he is an active little boy who needs more than what they can currently give him.
Buddy can be a little bit timid when he meets new people and looks to his owner for reassurance, however, it does not take him long to make friends. He is a very affectionate, sweet little boy who will make a fantastic companion.
He is used to older visiting children and could live with children over the age of 10 as he may prove too excitable for youngsters. He would benefit from an active home with lots of walks and stimulation, preferably with someone who has experience with Terriers.
Buddy is brilliant with other dogs on walks and could live with a compatible dog in his new home. He has not had much interaction with cats but he does not like small animals.
He is currently in good health but has suffered from a skin allergy in the past that cleared up well with treatment. We will have more information on this when he sees our vet but anticipates that he would benefit from a hypoallergenic diet. Buddy is clean and non-destructive in the home and could be left alone for a couple of hours.
Overall Buddy is a good, all-around little chap and we don’t imagine he will be waiting long to find a new home.
