This is our gorgeous boy Bruno. Bruno is an extremely loving and gentle 6 month old Turkish Kangal boy. He is a very large breed dog and will need a lot of space to roam freely and without restriction. He is still growing and won’t mature for a good while yet. Bruno has an exceptionally loving nature and is a real gentle giant. He will make a wonderful companion in the right home who will give him lots of love and affection back. Despite Bruno’s huge size, he really is not a very demanding dog.
However, he still thrives on attention and stimulation and lots of love. He will still need to be exercised and training is a must. This type of breed of dog are very intelligent and learn quickly through positive reinforcement methods of short bursts to keep them interested. Walks will need to be limited while he is still young and growing and then extended as his needs grow.
Bruno is very accepting of other dogs and could easily be homed with another suitable resident doggy companion. He is good with people too and will certainly be center of attention when you have visitors. Bruno will need a substantial meal every day and is also still growing so eats twice a day at the moment. He would love to find his forever home soon so he can settle down and for his new owners to be able to enjoy his puppy hood and adolescence. Bruno’s life expectancy is between 12-15 years if looked after properly and have a good diet.
Bruno is having to share his home with other foster dogs, big and small and he is a star with all of them. However, he will soon outgrow his bed and would love for a new home where there is a bit more space which he can grow into and call his own! Bruno is vaccinated, micro-chipped and wormed. He will need to be neutered when old enough as part of the adoption agreement and proof of this shown.
