Pinto is a four year old small to medium sized Cross-Breed. Pinto is fostered in Norfolk (FR007). Pinto was in the Botosani public shelter in Romania for long enough to learn that humans aren’t always kind. He’s a shy boy who still fears strangers but is progressing well in his foster home.
Pinto is now really enjoying his walks and asks to come along when the leads come out. He still has to be sought out to give fuss and attention to as he doesn’t yet really understand that human contact is enjoyable he’s just tolerating it at present. This will change as it does with all our scared dogs it just takes time, love and kindness.
It takes a special kind of adopter to take on a dog that isn’t going to instantly reciprocate the love that’s given to them, but those that do enjoy the journey and take such pleasure and pride in watching these dogs develop. It is a privilege to be such a part in turning fear into happiness.
