Honey is a 4 year old female English Cocker Spaniel. Gorgeous Honey found herself in a terrible state, thankfully she was lucky enough to have been in the care of one of our wonderful Dog Wardens who quickly made sure she was made much more comfortable. She was matted completely and had matts on top of matts. Her ears and skin were in terrible condition as a result of her ill treatment. She is looking like a different dog now thanks to the great care of her foster. Honey is a really active dog who would best suited to an energetic family where she will get plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. She is great with other dogs and took little notice of the cat.
It is thought that Honey had not lived in a home prior to arriving with us as she was not house trained. She has made great progress but the odd accident may happen when she goes to her new home. She is very strong on lead, although this is improving with regular exercise she will need further training in her new home.
As we have little history for Honey we cannot re home her with young children, she is fine to be re homed with older sensible children. Honey is currently being fostered in New Romney Kent. She has been neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped and has had her teeth cleaned and polished. Honey is up to date with flea and worming treatment.
