Gavin is a 6 month old male Jack Russell Terrier. Gavin is a tiny little chap who arrived very scared and at a loss as to what was happening to him, he was very nervous but has settled well in foster and has really come out of his shell. Initially he was snappy with the other dogs and we guess he had had very little socialisation. He has adjusted well I foster with all his canine companions showing him the way, Gavin has come out of his shell and is now ready for his forever home. As he is a young pup he will need new owners who are around for most of the day and who will have the time to continue his training. He was not clean in the house when he arrived but has improved greatly, the odd accident should be expected as he settles in and finds his feet.
Gavin is a very small lad, he would be fine with older sensible children but as we do not have a full history for him we cannot home him with very young children. He is currently in foster with cats and birds, a dog savvy bold cat should be fine with Gavin. He travels well in the car and is now enjoying his walks. We would like Gavin to be re homed with another resident dog if possible as he will benefit from having a good role model to draw confidence from.
Gavin has been neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped and is up to date with flea and worming treatment. He is currently being fostered in Guildford Surrey.
