Smokey is a beautiful Bull Mastiff who is 8 years old and due to his age this puts people off, he does not act like an 8 year old more like a puppy and he is still looking for a forever home. He will charm you will his array of tricks he can perform and loves nothing more than a cuddle.
He has lived with other dogs before, but at the centre we are conducting on-going work, teaching Smokey how to behave when he sees other dogs. He can be very vocal and wants to say hello to everyone, and this is a working progress. Therefore any potential adopters for him must be prepared to conduct work with the staff and Smokey at the centre, in order for them to learn how to deal with him around other dogs.
We think that Smokey requires a home without other dogs, therefore he can have all the attention which he rightly deserves. Due to his size and playful qualities, children of secondary school age would be best for him, however, suitable introductions would be required at the centre. No cats for him. Smokey can also do tricks and will spend hours telling you about his day.
