Mya is a 2 years 9 month old, short-haired white + blue merle, female Collie who is in need of a forever home. She is a really loving girl who desperately needs to find her own special human family.
Mya is very bright and keen to learn but hasn’t had much training when she was young so needs an experienced family with the commitment and patience to guide her so she can fulfil her potential. She may be cautious at first but is very affectionate once she gets to know you and starts to feel safe.
Having spent a few months in kennels, Mya is wary of other dogs and can be picky who she makes friends with, so in a home, she does need to be the only one.
Mya would be best suited to a home without children, or with older children only as she can still be a bit too enthusiastic when she is playing. As Mya is quite wary of traffic, a rural home would be best for her.
She loves to play ball so a secure garden with enough space to run, play and have fun would be ideal. She travels well and doesn’t mind being left for a couple of hours.
If you can offer a kind knowledgeable forever home, Mya will develop. and grow into a super, happy and loyal companion.
