Handsome boy Dexter is sadly looking for a new home as his current family can no longer give him the exercise and attention that he needs following the arrival of a new baby in the home along with work hours. Having had Dexter since he was a puppy his family are very sad to have to part with him but know he deserves more than what they can currently give him.
Dexter is a very sweet boy, he is very affectionate and wants to climb onto your knee for cuddles! He is very energetic and would benefit from an active home. He is well mannered and will happily greet visitors to the home but can be over enthusiastic at times and will jump up. For this reason he will need a home free from young children, as he could easily knock little ones over.
On walks Dexter socialises well with most dogs but does not like dogs running over to him whilst he is on the lead and can be wary. Generally he will bark and pull to greet dogs and does enjoy playing with a relatives dog. However we feel that Dexter would be best as the only pet in the home. He does not like cats.
Dexter travels well in the car, is clean and non destructive in the home and can be left alone for a few hours. This boy desperately deserves a second chance at happiness and will make a fantastic addition to the family.
