Ronnie is an 11 month old male English Cocker Spaniel. Ronnie is a ginger Cocker, who is very bright and has bags of energy to burn and loves his walks/runs/swims around the local woods/moors. Ronnie settles down really well when in the home, once his had his exercise and loves to snuggle up on the couch with his humans and our resident Springer.
Ronnie is crate trained and will happily go in this at night time. He walks well on a figure of 8 lead and his recall off lead is excellent (We use a dog whistle). He knows basic commands sit/lay/stay and because he loves his food he will be very easy to continue with his on going training.
Ronnie will need a very active home were he will Receive lots of exercise and were his training can continue, he loves to play ball but is just as happy running freely, he is great with other dogs in and out of the home. He has shown some food aggression Towards our resident dog but this can be managed with continued training. He will take treats from your hand so gently, and he does find the odd sock around the house but will give back for something of higher value to him (treat/toy).
We feel Ronnie will benefit from living with older dog who can keep him on track with his puppy like manners. Ronnie has been fostered in a child free home, but we think he will be fine with dog savvy teens. Ron is neutered chipped vaccinated wormed and flead and adoption subject to meet and greet homecheck and adoption fee. Applications via forms section of website.
