Robbie is a medium sized Cross-Breed from Romania of about three years old. He looks to have some German Shepherd in him but this is guess work! Robbie – fostered in Norfolk (FR007). Robbie was rescued from a high kill shelter in Romania over a year ago now and has been waiting patiently for his forever home to be found. Robbie is very friendly with most other dogs, he really just wants to play but can get the hump when he loses.

Robbie has lived with a cat when he initially came into our care over a year ago and initially showed a little interest in it, but he was distracted with ease and in time showed no reaction when she was near. It has been some time since he’s encountered cats though so care would need to be taken. Robbie is VERY loving. He does jump up when he gets excited, but this is again an entirely fixable issue. He gets down immediately when you point and say ‘down’. He’s just very pleased to see you! He’s proving to be very bright. I think in the right home he would flourish and be a possible candidate for agility. He does have an unfortunate tendency to be protective of his home and family so care needs to be taken when visitors come. Although he lives with children in his current foster home and adores them he would not be okay with visiting friends so we are looking for an adult home for him.

In a nutshell, Robbie is a VERY loving and bright young lad. He is housetrained, travels well in a car and can be left alone at home for periods of time with no issues.
