Billy is a 6 month old male Cross-Breed boy being fostered in Birmingham in a family with home with 4 other dogs, a cat and teenagers. He is only medium size reminds me of a Corgi sort of size. This lovely boy came into rescue in Spain unwanted by a Spanish family with his dad, mum and brother – his dad and brother are now rehomed and doing really well and his mum will join us shortly. Billy is settling in well into foster family has no problem with the other dogs and getting used to living with a cat. He has more or less mastered house training, walking well on the lead, still a bit scared of the car but Sherlie is working on this, he is also now off the lead and enjoying lots of runs round not the most perfect recall comes back a bit in his own time but is getting there. Bill is a very loving dogs and affectionate with people, another easy puppy to live with and apart from mad puppy times is quite relaxed around the house.
Outside we are working on Billy’s confidence if dogs are a lot bigger than him he gets scared and will bark, he has met smaller ones and once he learns they will not hurt him he is quite happy to play with them. He is good with the cat but has been known to give chase outside as he thinks its a game but if the cats stops and stares at him he backs off straight away he is not very brave bless him.
Billy could easily go and live in a family home as he is a very friendly puppy, would be fine with other dogs and cats but he does need a family that has some experience to help work on his confidence out and about we will continue to work on this but this needs to be sorted out now while he is young he would also benefit from dog training like all young dogs do to help them grow up into well rounded adults.
Billy has a Pet Passport, two young to be neutered you will be expected to do this as part of the adoption agreement. He is fully vaccinated, blood tested and has a Pet Passport.
