Aisha is a 6 year old female Teckel Cross. A sweet girl looking for a family with lots of time to play! Aisha is a black, tan and white soft coated little girl with a pretty schnauzer type coat and face. This small-medium sized dog is playful and happy around other dogs. All she wants to do is play. Aisha is a lovely sociable dog. She is friendly with the people and children who visit the refuge and also the volunteers who help at the refuge. Good all round family dog who can live with other dogs and children. Aisha was abandoned by her first family, dumped on the streets in Spain and like a lot of abandoned pet she is struggling in the refuge.
We don’t know how she feels about cats but she can be tested if required. Current location is in Spain can travel to the UK once she has a home to go to. For Dogs coming from Spain: This adoption fee is a contribution towards the costs of rescuing the dog- microchip, passport, vaccines, tests for S European diseases, neutering (if old enough), parasite treatment and transport to the UK.
We can not home dogs from Spain to people who work full time or long hours, unless some sort of doggy day care is offered. They need someone at home a lot of the day, they are not used to being alone for long periods. A dog walker for an hour out of the day is not enough.
Leaving dogs a long time on their own means they are highly likely to develop separation anxiety which is distressing for them and everyone in their new home.
