Vera is a 4 year old female Whippet cross Lurcher, she has arrived in our care from a pound. She is quite dinky and weighs 19kg. She is good with all dogs and is a gentle sweet girl who just wants to be loved. Vera needs to be homed with another dog for confidence. She is extremely timid and is easily startled by sudden loud noises of all kinds. She takes time to trust people but once she does trust you, she wants to be with you all the time.
Whoever adopts this girl will have the most loyal and loving companion but she is a work in progress and will need a patient understanding home. If you feel you can give little Vera the stability, love, patience and commitment she needs, and already have another dog, please get in touch with us. You will not regret adopting this sweet girl who must have had such a horrible life before.
