Tilly – 11 month old female Cross-Breed

Tilly is an 11 month old female Cross-Breed. Tilly is a puppy rescued in Cyprus, who flew to the UK to find her forever home. She is currently living in Sittingbourne, Kent, whilst she waits for her forever family to find her. Here is a little about her: Tilly is a happy, lively, healthy and playful dog with lots of love to give. Whilst we do not know exactly what breeds may be in her mix, we do know that she is a 100% Cyprus Special and completely adorable.

Just like any other puppy her age she is full of energy. She loves her walks and when you mention that you are taking her ‘walkies’ she gets so excited. She walks well on and off lead and is reasonably good with recall. You just need to make sure you have a pocket full of treats for her, as she is very food oriented. She follows commands such as come, sit, down, paw, etc. And if you have a treat she will do everything for it.

When she first flew to the UK in April, she was very scared of everything but she has changed so much since then. She has grown in confidence and learned social skills. She is fully house trained and if she wants to go outside, she will sit by the garden door. She is fine with grooming and will let you bath and brush her dry her paws, cut her nails, etc. She is a bit boisterous at times, and would be probably better with kids above 5 years old, or assertive, dog savvy kids. She loves her leading adult. She can be nervous of new people, but soon warms to them. She is more nervous of men, but will still accept and grow friendly with them. She has not met a cat or other small furries so we do not know how she will behave with them.

Tilly loves her doggy friends and is always happy to play with any dog she meets. She sleeps downstairs in her dog bed the whole night and is good to leave at home during the day for up to 4 hours, her current family have never left her for longer than this.
