Poppy is the most beautiful girl who is no longer required for breeding, she is as you would expect a little nervous but she just adores human contact. Poppy will follow you anywhere and everywhere just waiting and hoping for a gentle stroke of rub of her head.
She is not used to life in the home but she is adjusting well, she has been clean so far but the odd accident should be expected as everything Is so very new for her. Poppy will have a sneaky “counter surf” if the opportunity arises. Again this is just because she is not used to sounds, sights and smells within the home. Poppy travels well in the car and is clean and quiet, she slept without any issues and was both clean and quiet. She would be fine with older teenagers who are happy to share the sofa with her and of course give lots of cuddles.
Poppy is fine with other dogs and took no notice of the cat. Care will need to be taken to ensure that Poppy does not over bond as her desire for human interaction is her priority, this is understandable given her back ground. She does need to gain weight as she is currently very slim. She is eating well in foster so hopefully this wont take too long.
She has been neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped and is up to date with flea and worming treatment. Poppy is currently being fostered in Beckenham Kent. For further details regarding dogs available from Pro Dogs Direct.
