Darling Luna, formerly known as Daphie, is a 1 year old flat-coated retriever mix and is currently in foster in Kington, Herefordshire. Initially adopted, she is sadly looking for a new home after discord with the resident dog. Sometimes the fit just isn’t right and we always help in such cases.
Luna was a firm favourite at the pound and is flourishing in foster. A truly stunning flat-coated Retriever mix, she turns heads wherever she goes. Luna mingles beautifully with male and female dogs who are somewhat comparable in size to her or larger. At one year old, Luna is an energetic girl and would suit an active home. She has made progress with her on-lead training, even during her short time in foster. Luna is a truly lovely girl and more than deserves a loving home.
As Luna is a young, large breed dog, she would benefit from a secure enclosed garden and an adopter who is happy to continue her training. Luna loves her food, so she will be partial to a bit of bribery! She is sure to make a loyal companion, who will make the most wonderful memories with her lucky adopter.
The small print: Luna has been blood tested and declared negative for all blood borne diseases (4DX for Erlichia / Heart worm / Anaplasmosis, Lyme disease, and the IFAT government test for Leishmaniosis), has had two vaccinations incl. deworming, rabies jab, microchip, is neutered, had tick & flea treatment (Nexgard) and has been vet checked. Whilst in Cyprus, she wore a Scalibor collar to protect her from Leishmaniosis.
