Charlie is a 3 year old male German Shepherd Cross. Charlie has been surrendered into rescue due to his owners personal circumstances and not due to any fault of his own, he is a shy boy but coming around quickly in foster. He knows some commands and is crate trained and housebroken although new adopters will need to be aware that there could be early accidents whilst he’s settling into new surroundings. He is fine with dogs and is in foster with dog savvy cats, he is good with children but would be easily frightened with very young children so applications 8+ will be accepted.
Charlie enjoys his walks but does pull on the lead, he travels well in the car but can be vocal when excited. He is non destructive in the home and fine to be left for small durations of time in his crate. Charlie previously lived with a very dominant dog and was not monitored at meal times so she ate all the food and left him with very little. Because of this he is underweight but gaining weight slowly in foster, he is however not food aggressive in the slightest and is enjoying having his own food now and not having to share. Charlie is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped and will be subject to a homecheck and adoption donation. He will also come with 4 weeks free insurance and a voucher for a box of free food.
