Carmen is a3 year old female Griffon Bleu De Gascogne. Carmen is a rescue from Cyprus, currently living with her foster mum in Yate, Bristol, whilst she waits for her forever family to find her. Here is a little about her: Carmen has flown to the UK to help her find her find her forever home. Her passport says that she is a Jura Hound Cross; however from her appearance she appears to have more Bleu de Gascogne in her than Jura. She is a playful, very kind, loving girl. She really enjoys attention from her family and loves kisses and hugs.

Carmen walks well on her lead although she may occasionally pull you to reach an interesting destination more quickly. She loves her food and this will really help her bond quickly with you and with her training too. Carmen loves to play with other dogs and is not bothered by cats at all. She is house trained and sleeps happily through the night in her own bed. She has not shown any signs of separation anxiety, but at the moment she is left with other dogs.

She enjoys the company of all people. She is still a young dog and sometimes bouncy and playful, so may knock younger children over in her exuberance to enjoy life, so we would recommend older, dog savvy children in her new family. Carmen does have Leishmaniasis which doesn’t affect her in the slightest. She needs her medication each day which is supplied by our rescue and this medication will keep the disease dormant. Her Leishmaniasis and any associated costs will always remain the rescue’s responsibility.

Carmen is looking for an active, fun home, with her own garden to play in. She is happy to share her new home with other dogs and cats. She would enjoy further basic training to help her bond with her new family. Once settled with you, she will reward you with unconditional love. She is a loyal and loving girl. If you are interested in the gorgeous, adorable, pretty Carmen with her very long silky ears, please contact us. We have no doubt that she will make her forever family very happy. She has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.
