Please meet Beautiful Blaze! Blaze is a beautiful 2 year old Labrador cross English Springer Spaniel, his ears are like velvet and his face will melt your heart! Blaze has had a very sad start to life, he was bought as a puppy and terrorized by young children, then when the novelty wore off and he grew out of the cute puppy phase he was dumped at a kennels. Poor Blaze was understandably terrified and confused, and as a result became very fearful of human interaction and began to guard his kennel, He was given 15 minute interactions a day where he was walked while his kennel was cleaned, but sadly he didn’t ever know love and became very distrusting of people, because of this people were unable to interact with him and he spent a year a prisoner of his kennel.
A volunteer took pity on him and alerted us to his plight, and here he is! Blaze has been with us for 2 months and has come on leaps and bounds! He would not allow anyone to touch him and was extremely wary of people, however with some time, space and a relaxed pack to reassure him, he is a different dog! He is a beautiful little lad and will make a very rewarding addition to his new family. Blaze is neutered, microchipped, de flead and wormed, he is house trained walks well on the lead is non destructive and can be left for short periods, he is absolutely perfect in his crate!
Blaze is a lovely lad that just wants to be loved and would make a wonderful companion for an older single person or couple. He would appreciate the quieter life, lots of walks and sofa time for snuggles, he also loves to sleep on the bed with you at night! Blaze is great with dogs so could happily live with a calm dog that likes the easy life. Blaze loves his home comforts and a cuddle, if he could get in your pocket he would! Blaze travels very well in the car and is a real gent! Whoever adopts this little lad will be very lucky indeed as he really has the most amazing well adjusted nature!
Blaze is extremely vocal when he plays with people and other dogs – he isn’t aggressive at all but can easily be misinterpreted if you are not used to dogs that growl a lot during play! For this reason he is looking for an adult only home.
Can you offer this lovely lad the home he so desperately deserves?
