Andy is a 5-month old male Cavalier King Charles Spaniel cross Bichon Frise who is being fostered in South Wales. He loves his humans and he loves a good cuddle. He enjoys being groomed and fussed. Every time he goes out into the garden he returns with a stone or a stick, he even came in with a 10p coin last week, which was swiftly retrieved by foster mum ! He loves playing with a ball and his squeaky toys. He sleeps on his back with four feet in the air and snores. He likes to help to shred any unwanted junk mail, he’s very good at it too!
Andy is very sociable and although initially he may be shy he soon comes around. He absolutely loves his foster mum’s grandchildren and greets them with great excitement when they return from school. Andy is very sociable with other dogs. Andy is fine with cats in the house. He will chase any other random cats that wander into the garden, but that’s a dog’s prerogative we think! Andy has been left for a couple of hours with the other dogs and was quite happy. He is puppy pad trained and although he prefers to go outside he will sometimes wee on the pad at night. Andy is happy on his lead and is very well behaved. Andy would benefit from a calm home. He’s very quiet and submissive but loves the company of other dogs and cats. He would make a wonderful companion dog, as he’s an absolute pleasure to have around. He’s very unassuming and doesn’t demand attention, but does loves company. He needs to be groomed regularly to prevent his fur from knotting.
Andy is neutered, chipped, vaccinated and up to date with his flea and worming treatment. Potential adopters will be expected to travel to meet him in his foster home in South Wales.
