Sophie is a 6 week old female Yorkshire Terrier. Sophie has come to us to be re homed as she was born slightly less than perfect. We think that this makes her extra special. She has a very thin coat in areas, this is not due to infection or any other medical condition, we suspect it is a congenital defect that should not affect her as she grows. We have in the past taken a pup with very similar issues and he is doing really well in his new home.
Sophie has an issue with one of her eyes, it is much smaller than the other and is very cloudy. At the moment we are monitoring this, we will update interested parties about the prognosis for her eye. Aside from these minor issues, Sophie is a normal lively little pup.
We would like new owners who are around for most of the day as she is still so young. Her house training is still a work in progress and will be for some time as she is so young accidents should be expected because they will happen. As Sophie is so young she will need new owners who are around for most of the day. Due to her size we will not re home Sophie with young children, older sensible teenagers would be fine.
Sophie had been vaccinated, micro chipped and is up to date with flea and worming treatments. She will need to be neutered at the correct time as part of her adoption agreement. (Reduced cost neutering is available on request at our vets). She is currently being fostered in Hampton Hill TW12.
