Alder is an 18 month old Labrador type girl from Romania, who is living with her current adopters in Aberdeenshire. Unfortunately her family’s circumstances have changed and through no fault of her own, they are no longer able to care for her. Alder is a friendly and loving girl who loves the company of dogs and people.
Alder is completely clean in the house, walks well on the lead and knows her basic obedience commands. She is friendly with other dogs, and she also gets on well with children, cats and small furries – she just wants to play with the 3 cats on the farm. Alder is crate trained and is happy to be left for short periods of time. She also travels well in the car.
Alder can be a bit nervous of new people coming into the home, but with calm introductions settles well quickly. Alder is an absolutely fantastic young girl, who is full of energy and loves attention.
Alder would suit an active, fun family home, ideally with another dog so that she can continue to learn the ropes. She would benefit from a home where her training continues and progresses as she has a keen mind and would enjoy being kept busy.
