Troy – 6 year old male Poodle

Troy is a 6 year old male Poodle. Troy is a darling little lad who has really not had the best of care. When he arrived his poor mouth was a mass of infection and decay. He has had a full dental to clean his mouth and teeth and to hopefully make him a lot. More comfortable than he has been in a while. His jaw has suffered due to the infection but thankfully this is not stopping the little lad eating or drinking. He really does want to cuddle up and be looked after, Troy deserves a really special home where he will get lots of tlc and attention.

He is great with other dogs and I cannot imagine he would pose a threat to any resident cats, Troy is nervous as you would expect from a dog who is not used to life in the home as a pet. He would be suited to a quieter home where he can have a nice walk and lots of cuddles, older teenagers would be fine as long as they understand he may be fearful initially.

Troy is learning all about house training and is trying his best to get things right, he is eager to please and his foster has said he is a wonderful little chap. He will be best suited to owners who are around for most of the day and he will need to be re homed with at least one other similar sized resident dog to help him settle and teach him all about life as a pampered pooch.

Troy has been neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped. He has had extensive dental work carried out and is up to date with flea and worming treatment. He is currently being fostered in Basingstoke Hampshire.
