Portia is a 6 to 7 years old female Pointer Cross. Portia is a rescue from Cyprus, currently living in Wembury, Plymouth. Through no fault of her own, following a change in circumstances, she now needs to a new forever home. Here is a little about her from her current mum: “We have had Portia with us since the end of April this year, and having largely overcome her understandable nervousness, she has shown herself to be the most sweet, kind, lovely, friendly dog I have ever had the privilege of knowing.
She is ready now to join a family who have another dog, and children of 12+ years who can teach her how to play ball and other games that she has never had the chance to enjoy! She is remarkably obedient and brilliant on and off the lead; Brilliant with other dogs big or small; Has never shown any kind of aggression in any circumstance. She will be a very special friend and companion to her new family for years to come. She is 6 or 7 years old, and in perfect health. Truly, she is a most beautiful dog in every way.”
Portia may be a little shy when she first meets you, but once settled, she will reward you with unconditional love. She is a loyal and loving girl who is very affectionate and simply wants love and attention. Portia is ideally looking for a home with another canine friend as she loves to play and the presence of another dog does provide her with reassurance if she has to be left alone for short periods. She would like someone in her new family to be around for most of the time.
