Nero is a 1-2 year old male Cross-Breed. Nero was in our private kennel for a few weeks but has now been in foster for a while and is adapting to a home environment very well. We feel he is ready to move on. This little dog makes us laugh a lot, he is a real character who has a mind of his own but he is now starting to listen. Taking Nero for a walk used to be like hanging on to a runaway train but happily he has now slowed down a lot and is taking interest in things around him.
Nero is going to be a challenge to whoever takes him on. He is a friendly, cuddly boy but he is going to need a good routine and someone who can give him boundaries, give an inch and he will take a mile. He is a very intelligent dog and in the right hands this dog is capable of achieving so much but he will need someone who likes to train a dog and give them something to think about.
We all love Nero dearly and we want to find someone who will love him as well, warts and all. He is now just over a year old, housetrained, will live with another dogs but can be a bit reactive to dogs that he meets outside but as long as you stay calm he quickly responds and calms down himself. He needs an adult only home without too many visitors. He is in foster in Melksham.
