Kai is a stunning 4 year old male Akita who exhibits all the wonderful traits of Akitas. He is majestic, calm and regal. Polite with strangers and no trouble at home. He is tidy and gentle with his mouth. He understands the basic commands beautifully and is both lead and house trained. He does not pull and can be left alone for a few hours a day and is reportedly non destructive.
He is confident and unperturbed by city noises. He doesn’t mind being patted by strangers although like most Akitas, he is more reserved and cautious to people he does not know. While he has lived with another dog, we do not know enough about how he gets on with all dogs in general. It may be possible for him to be rehomed with a confident female subject to successful introductions. However as he has never lived with children, we feel that he should be rehomed to a home without children or with teenage children only.
