Iris is a 3 year old female Cross-Breed. Iris is fostered in Marsham (FR001). She is believed to be around three years old. Iris is a sweet and calm girl who was rescued, along with her mother, from the Mizil public shelter in Romania. She has spent the last year or so waiting in a nice private shelter for her turn to come. One hundred and fifty dogs were rescued from certain death that day. Her mother is happily adopted in Germany and until recently was one of around forty dogs left in the private shelter.

Iris is now here in the UK in a multi dog foster home and is still waiting for that special chance to be chosen as someone’s pet at last. She is so quiet and well behaved and never asks for anything. She gets on brilliantly with the other dogs with never a cross word but doesn’t really join in the play or the fun and I definitely feel she would be happier in a more serene environment. Iris is okay with my children but doesn’t intentionally seek out their company, she is happy to be fussed by them if they go to her.
