George is a 7 year old male Labrador Cross. George was rescued in Cyprus and is now in the UK hoping to find his forever home. He is currently living with his foster mum in Ashington. George’s passport says he was 7 in May. However, we feel that he may be a little younger than this. George was rescued in Cyprus and we do not have his exact origins so the date of birth on his passport is just an estimate by the vet who prepared it. His passport also states Labrador cross but we suspect from his appearance he may be all Labrador.
George is a boy who likes to be active and in typical Labrador fashion really loves to play fetch with his ball! He is good on lead and really enjoys his walks. He can react to some dogs when out walking, but this is generally down to how the other owner and dog reacts first. He is responding well to his recall training, especially if you have a ball. George loves cuddles and getting his tummy rubbed too. He is absolutely perfect in your home and housetrained. We hope to find George a home where he will be loved and continue to enjoy his life in the UK. George loves playing with his toys and would like a home with a garden where he can play safely.
George does not want to share his home with another dog and he has not lived with a cat. He would prefer to be an only pet in his new home as we think he would be happier as an only dog, with the undivided attention of his human.
George has a wish list for his new home: a comfy bed, toys to play with, a garden to play safely in, fun walks with water to play in, no children, no other pets, grown up human(s) who know how to play ‘fetch’, treats. He really is a typical Labrador in nature, happy, loves playing in water and being with his human(s). Like most Labradors he can be a little boisterous when excited but generally well behaved and really loving being in the UK. If you can help George achieve his dream home, please contact us.
