Amos is a beautiful shy boy who we believe to be about 3-4 years old. He was found by one of the rescuers we work with in a public shelter in Romania along with his kennel mate Athos. Both we’re in a truly shocking state and suffering from severe dermodex and mange. They were taken out and moved to the private shelter the rescuer runs and she began treating them as best she could in the conditions they were living in. When SRS heard of their plight we immediately removed them and transferred them 100’s of kilometres to the vets we work with in Bucharest and then their transformation began!
If you look at them now you would never believe that they could ever have looked in such a sorry state. Amos is the smaller of the two and much quieter slightly shy. Once he knows you his personality stats to shine though and he is just the sweetest boy ever. He plays nicely with all the other dogs but loves a quiet cuddle if he can get you in your own.
Both Amos and Athos lived with very young children after their treatment had been completed and they were waiting to travel and we would be happy for them both to live in homes with younger children providing they were dog savvy.
