Meli – 3 year old female Cross-Breed

Meli is a 3 year old female Cross-Breed. Meli is a rescue from Cyprus, currently living in a foster home in London, whilst she waits for her forever family to find her. Here is a little about her: Meli is a calm, well mannered and well behaved girl. She likes her play time and LOVES her walks and would love a home where someone can commit to taking her for two long walks a day. She is playful when out and has her moments indoors where she has bursts of energy but generally when at home likes to lie on her bed and nibble on treats or play with her toys herself.

Meli is not a fan of her furry friends coming into her bed and space indoors. When in the park they call her the peacemaker as she keeps everyone in check. She has made best friends with the resident French bulldog puppy in the space of a few days and protects her and the resident Chihuahua boy when out on walks. Meli loves the company of other dogs and would like a home with other well behaved and sociable dogs. She chases cats and barks at them – so sadly we do not think she would be happy sharing her new home with a cat.

Meli is excellent on and off the lead. She is good around food and is happy to share even her bowl. She is perfect with kids and children and great with all people although may be a little shy at first. She is fully house trained and has had no accidents since her arrival. She hasn’t been left alone for more than an hour at a time as yet and does show some separation anxiety.

Meli would need a home where someone is home most of the day or not out for longer than 4 to 6 hours a day. She loves the car and is happy to run errands with you. She hasn’t used a crate but loves her big bed. She sleeps well through the night on the sofa in her foster mum’s room and does not wake up at all during the night. Meli would like a home with another playful, young dog, and preferably older children that will fuss her rather then pull at her tail. She is a sensitive soul so will need a lot of attention. She seems to prefer men for some reason so a man that will keep up her training and take her for runs would be ideal. She is obedient, loving, gentle, kind and the PERFECT DOG.
