Milo is a 1 year old male Cross-Breed. Milo is a young, energetic dog. He has lots of potential and needs a home that is committed to ongoing training. He displays typical collie behaviours, plus he’s just going through the adolescent phase! He needs an active home as he is very athletic – he’d really enjoy getting involved in agility, disk-dog, cani-x, obedience, mind games and physical activity is what keeps him happy! Milo can be worried by some new people and this will require management and training long term, he will require an adult only home. He can be worried by some dogs and this will require on-going training, he may be able to live with a similar sized/ larger female however there would need to be consideration of matching characters. He is not suited to live with cats.
New owners will need to build up his confidence travelling in the car, he may also be worried by high traffic areas. He occasionally has accidents in the home, but is mostly house trained. Milo is worried by lots of activity and noise so consideration needs to be given to ensure his home environment and areas he is exercised will suit. Milo is a popular character with staff and volunteers however he does need an experienced home with knowledge of his breed type and time to devote to longer term management and training. Milo is currently enjoying time in a foster home.
