Jessie is a 1 year old female Cross-Breed. This little dog arrived to her foster mum so frightened, she was shaking terribly and couldn’t be touched. Jessie tried to bite her foster mum several times through sheer fear of not understanding that she was now safe. This little girl had suffered harshly in Romania but perseverance has just shown what an amazing little dog Jessie really is.
After a bumpy start of Jessie continuously escaping through the smallest holes in the garden into the neighbours gardens, and her hiding in the smallest places. After making the garden fully Houdini proof she has settled well. She is now playing with the other dogs, loving cuddles and strokes. Jessie is now happy to approach people, rather than shy away. She even ventured out on a lead for a short time.
Initially scared of men she now loves her foster dad too. Some dogs just need more time than others, but that just shows that first impressions should never be taken when considering a rescue dog as just patience and resilience have been what Jessie needed to adapt to living in a loving environment.
Jessie is a small dog who would be suitable in a home with sensible children, cats and other dogs. Jessie is vaccinated, Micro chipped, Flea and Worm Treated, Neutered and has her pet passport, Home check and compulsory adoption donation of £300 applies.
