Snow White fostered in Gt Yarmouth (FR001). Snow white is a medium to large six to seven year old Collie cross. This beautiful girl has had a tragic past and her story is one of wasted years and loss. Our knowledge of her starts when she was caught by dog catchers in Feb 2013. She was taken to a public shelter with seven small pups which she watched die one by one of Parvovirus. Then she was neutered and released back into the streets of Botisani, Romania, as quite a few were at that time.
She was then caught again and taken back to the public shelter in 2015 where she has sat in her awful cell for the past three years. Her sister Sissy who was her double was killed last year by other dogs and we were too late to help her but Snow White now deserves to live life to the full to make up for lost time.
Of course after all those years of never having a home domestic life takes a bit of getting used to. This courageous girl is taking the adventure in her stride and enjoying new sights, sounds and smells. She is a little wary of being touched initially but in many occasions has already leaned against my legs and welcomed a fuss. This striking looking girl loves her walks already and seems to understand there’s nothing but good things ahead now.
