Scruffy is a three and a half year old Patterdale Terrier cross Yorkshire. Scruffy is Fostered in Hingham (FR006). Scruffy is a very petite little man who has come to us as he had anxiety issues when his former owner went to work and felt that they were not being fair on keeping him. Scruffy is at first wary of dogs and he favours smaller dogs to large, once he has met them he accepts them. He loves people and at first will shy away but over time will bond quickly, he loves nothing more than sitting on a lap.
Because of his anxiety issues we would be looking for someone who is home most of the time and would be happy to work with his issues, he is not destructive just gets himself in a state and will sit by the door till you return.
Scruffy loves his walks and is house trained. Another small dog would be of benefit to him and someone who involves their dog in a large part of the every day routine. If you are looking for a lap dog look no further, scruffy is your man.
