Regina is 3 year old female Cross-Breed. Regina is an amazing dog. She gave birth to 4 puppies amidst the chaos and squalor of a public shelter and fought bravely to ensure their survival. At the same time as this was happening seven other little puppies were born in the same shelter but their mummies were not as strong as Regina and lost their battle for life. The volunteers at the shelter presented these babies to our grave girl and she happily vetoed them as her own.
We had already reserved her and her 4 puppies and arranged to move them out into private foster and there was no way we were going to leave any of the babies behind so mummy and all 11 puppies were moved out to safety! Regina has settled in really well into her foster home that she has now been in for nearly 10 months and her foster mum cannot understand why she has not been snapped up. She has come on so much and after everything she has been through deserves her happy ever after. She is really coming out of her shell and has enjoyed playing with one of the resident pups which is a joy to watch.
She loves all dogs and people but especially loves her food. She is so laid back when out on her walks. She loves the humans in her life and would prefer a home where there is someone around most of the day. She gets on well with all the other dogs in her foster home but likes her own space. Her favourite things are food and going for walks, she likes to plod along sniffing everything. This lady really deserves a very special home.
