Perry is an 8-year old Cavalier King Charles, who is being fostered in RCT, South Wales. He is a kindly old gentleman who is looking for a good spot to retire. He has had a pretty rotten life that has taken its toll on him but he is turning into a happy, uncomplicated little man who likes nothing better than following the sun around the room and finding a nice spot to snooze. Perry loves people despite his past and will go to anyone for a bit of fuss and attention. Perry enjoys the company of other dogs, especially quiet ones like him. He tends to ignore bouncy ones.
Perry has not had contact with cats whilst in his foster home but he is such a kindly old soul we don’t think it will be an issue. Perry is well behaved in the home and prefers to toilet outside but he will not hold it in for too long so you will need to be nimble and watch for the signs. He loves his doggy beds and prefers them to being on furniture. He can be left for short periods as long as he has company. Perry only walks short distances and he has never walked before being in his foster home. Happy meeting people and other dogs but tires quickly at the moment.
Perry needs an understanding retirement home with a family who can look after his limited needs. He has a Grade 5 heart murmur that require daily medication and has only one tooth. He also has a nasty ear issue that requires daily cleaning to avoid infection. He you want a happy dog that sits at your feet or in front of the fire, is no bother but loyal, Perry is your dog! Perry is neutered, chipped, vaccinated and up to date with his flea and worming treatment. Potential adopters will be expected to travel to meet him in his foster home in Rhondda South Wales.
