Jazz – 5 month old male Ibizan Hound cross Dachshund

Jazz is a 5 month old male Ibizan Hound cross Dachshund. Sweet little puppy Jazz is a petite Podenco cross dachshund with a smooth dark brown and tan oat, she is the sister of Ria. They have long bodies and short little legs and are very sweet and friendly and gentle. They are smaller than cats and mix in with the other dogs and cats very well. Jazz stands at 20cm and weighs only 3kg. Jazz is learning to walk nicely on the lead she likes children and does not food guard. Both puppies were found abandoned by the side of the Spanish shelter gate one morning – no mum or anything left to indicate they have a home.

Fosterer’s report: Special little girls ! its hard not to love them as they are so sweet and just typical little pups. Into everything and happy to play with the other dogs and will listen when told off by an older dog. Current location in a foster home in Spain can travel to the UK once she has a home to go to. We can not home dogs from Spain or Portugal to people who work full time or long hours, unless some sort of doggy day care is offered. They need someone at home a lot of the day, they are not used to being alone for long periods. A dog walker for an hour out of the day is not enough.
Leaving dogs a long time on their own means they are highly likely to develop separation anxiety which is distressing for them and everyone in their new home.
