Mili – 3 year old female Cavalier King Charles Spaniel

Mili is a complicated little King Charles Spaniel who is 3-years old and being fostered in RCT, South Wales. Mili has spent he life in an autistic household where the stress levels were constantly high. As a result, Mili does not react well in stressful situations. She can snap when stressed in situations of commotion such as children, loud constant noise and busy little dogs.
Mili is fine around adults that treat her with respect. She responds very well once trust is gained and it is done on her terms. She likes cuddling with mum and dad and sleeps on the bed wonderfully. Although she is improving daily, we will not rehome her with children.

Mili does not like busy little dogs who do not respect her space. Our initial thoughts were to home her as an only dog but she is showing signs of bonding with our older dogs. She will cuddle with our old male Cavalier and actively seeks him out at sleep time. Not tested with cats.
Mili has her chair at home and spends most of her time there. She is fully housetrained and not destructive at all. She is not keen on being left. Mili has learned some terrible habits at human meal times and will bother mum and dad mercilessly. She will join her humans for cuddles and is starting to play with toys.

Mili loves her walks. She would spend her day walking if she could. She is not actively aggressive but doesn’t like dogs fussing around her. Mili needs a quiet home with a family that understands her challenges and is used to working with dogs like Mili. The positives outweigh the negatives with Mili. She is a sweet soul who is always pleased to see her foster mum and dad and really wants to get involved. She has huge potential and will reward patience with love and devotion.

Mili is neutered, chipped, vaccinated and up to date with her flea and worming treatment. Potential adopters will be expected to travel to meet her in her foster home in Rhondda, South Wales. If you are interested in adopting Mili please read about our rehoming process and complete a Pre-Adoption form.

Tucker – 8 year old male

Here is the wonderful 8 year old Tucker. He is full of life and vigour. Tucker certainly loves his food and also enjoys his walks. He is a loving dog and is very friendly. He came in with Sunnyboy and although it would be perfect if they could continue to live together in a new home, we appreciate that this may not be possible.

Tucker knows a few commands and is fine interacting with other dogs. He could live in a home with no cats and could live with older children. If you would like to meet lovely Tucker, please contact us.

Chaplin – 2 year old male Brittany Spaniel Cross

Chaplin was rescued from a kill shelter in central Spain. He’s a bouncy, energetic, very playful boy, he’s timid with people initially but affectionate once he gets to know them. We think Chaplin is a Brittany crossed with a Pointer, he is very handsome with the short fur of a pointer but the colouring and some of the shape of a Brittany.

We’re looking for an adopter with experience of working breeds ideally, willing to take him for long daily walks and invest time in his training. He needs somebody patient enough to help him overcome his fear of new people and new situations, he is so much better already it shouldn’t take long. He would do well with another young, playful and confident dog.

His adoption fee is a contribution towards the costs of rescuing him including microchip, passport, vaccinations, parasite treatment, tests for S European diseases, neutering and transport to the UK.

We’re looking for an active adopter ideally with experience of working dogs, willing to take him for long daily walks and invest time in his training.

Ruby – 5 year old female

Five year old Ruby came to us with her friend Chocolate. They really need to go to any new home together. Ruby was very timid when she first arrived in our care. However, she is gradually growing in confidence.

As you can see, once out of the kennel environment and on a walk with her friend, Chocolate, she is very perky. Ruby needs a home with no cats and older children. If you would like to meet Ruby please contact us

Matteo – 4 year old male

Matteo is around four and a half now and he is good with other dogs. He has seen many foster dogs come and go while in his current home and has been fine with them all, although he can get jealous of other dogs so we think he would love a home as an only dog so he can be the centre of attention.

Matteo has only ever lived with older children while in the UK so we wouldn’t rehome him with small children. He also hasn’t lived with cats. Matteo has been described as the “biggest love bug”. He has a fantastic character and will make a faithful companion to his new master/mistress. If you are interested in adopting Matteo please fill in a form

Sunnyboy – 8 year old male

Sunnyboy is a lovely dog. He is 8 years old and has a very young outlook. He gets on well with other dogs and particularly loves his friend Tucker. Sunnyboy requires a home with no cats and older children only.

We would love for them to go to a new home together but appreciate that this will most probably not be possible. Sunnyboy is house trained and can sit nicely. He really is a gentle giant.
Please come and meet this deserving dog

Harry – 4 year old male African Pygmy Hedgehog

Young Harry is not so much a Pro Dog as a Pro Hog! Anyway we don’t mind that he is more prickles than fluff. Harry is looking for experienced new owners who know Hogs and are able to meet his needs. He is a great little chap who loves a trundle and is happy to explore (under supervision of course).

Harry will come with his indoor cage and food and bits to help him settle in. He is adorable and a very interesting pet but we would like applications from people who preferably have experience as Hogs are not for everyone.

He is currently being fostered in Aldershot Hampshire. For further details regarding dogs available from Pro Dogs Direct.

Rocky – 4 year old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier

Rocky is a four year old staffie, he had some behavioural issues but the foster has worked very well with him and he has turned out to be a lovely dog and a joy to have around. He is generally good with dogs though doesn’t seem to like German Shepherds and has taken been told off by female dogs very well and just turns his head away so could be homed with a female dog who am sure would boss him around.

He loves walks and is good on the lead, clean in the house. A typical Staffordshire Bull Terrier that loves playing ball but not good with cats and have to say no children as he did come to rescue with issues. He is definitely ready for his forever home now and will make someone a really nice pet, he loves to be with his human. He is fostered in London.

Jenson – 6 month old male Cockapoo

Jenson has come to us to be re homed as he was unsold. He is not used to home life so is understandably quite nervous as everything is so very new and quite overwhelming for him. He will need new owners who are around for most of the day and he must be re homed with at least one other similar sized resident dog. Please ensure you match his homing requirements before applying. His foster is working on his house training with him and will also begin his lead training, this will be a work in progress so Jenson’s new owners will need to ensure they have the time and patience to commit to continuing with his training. An understanding of nervous dogs would be helpful.

Jenson is fine to be re homed with older teenagers who understand he may be fearful initially and who will allow him to settle and greet them when he feels comfortable. Younger occasional visiting children would be fine provided that he has an area to feel secure in. He is in foster with lots of other animals and is young enough to learn to live with cats ect.

He has had his first vaccination, is up to date with flea and worming treatment and is micro chipped. Jenson will need to be neutered at the correct time as part of the adoption agreement (reduced cost neutering is available on request). He is currently being fostered in Guildford Surrey. For further details regarding dogs available from Pro Dogs Direct.

Jess – 3 year old female Spaniel cross

Jess is a gorgeous girl who is looking for a new home through no fault of her own. She is starting to come out of her shell now and would like new owners who are around for most of the time and at least on other similar sized resident dog who enjoys a game and will help Jess gain some confidence. She is good on her lead but does find traffic and lots of hustle and bustle pretty scary at the moment. With time and patience she will soon come on and will make a wonderful companion.

Jess is doing well with her house training, the odd accident should be expected as she settles in but progress is being made very quickly. Jess is fine with children although we would prefer older ones who have been used to having dogs around and understand that she may be a little nervous initially. We do not know what Jess is like with cats or small furries. She travels well in the car secured.

Jess has been neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped and is up to date with flea and worming treatment. She has also had her teeth cleaned and polished. She is currently being Fostered in Woolwich London. For further details regarding dogs available from Pro Dogs Direct.
